Wilting pulsing xenia

I purchased a frag of pulsing xenia last night attached to a small rock. It looked good in the aquarium where I purchased it, but about half an hour after I put it in my tank it now looks wilted and not pulsing. I have attached a picture. I have moved it around in my tank a few times. I have read that they require strong current and high to medium lighting. I have a 180 gallon with 3 - 250w MH and 4 - 96w power compact actinics.

They do this all the time. I wouldn't worry unless it starts to dissolving. Give it a medium flow. If it breaks apart it is dying, if it stays together it will be fine. (that is if it hasnt come back already)

mine wouldnt pulse in high flow...i kinda looked like a horse whip cracking...now i have it in low to medium flow and high light pulses like crazy...

Yeah it should be fine, it's just acclimating to it's new enviroment. if it isn't better already, I would ease up on the flow on it and put it down low in the tank until it gets happy, then you can start moving it around again.

Ive had them do that after a cleaning or water change. They have stayed that way for days, just when I give up on them they come back. It just takes time for them to adjust.

Yeah, as a poster mentioned they don't seem do pulse well in high flow. My xenia that is right under my mp40 doesn't pulse (with powerhead off). The xenia that got blown across to the other side of my tank in the lower flow pulses like crazy.
