you only run clams in a well seasoned tank..be careful here bud. If I recall correctly (and you can certainly correct me if I'm wrong) your tank is still very new (less than a year).

My tank is 10 months, and my first clam went in after running for about 3, and it's been fine

Mangroves on the way To be honest, it's become more work than fun for me. I need to redesign the tank anyway, and fish handle transition and new tanks better than corals do (at least, in my experience). So ... time to move the coral, clean out the fish room, and go from there.

There you go again andy , setting off my alarmist personality. first the kole tang now the clam. LOL. just kidding buddy. I appreciate you looking out for me. While you are correct I have had my tank for less than a year( getting closer though) I think I am at around eight months. It was running nearly a full year before I got it, so I think I will be ok.
