if i use actual window screen to cover my tank , will i be losing too much light ,any idea how much % wise? Want to keep in the jumpers like wrasse and such .

Window screening will block a good amount of light -- it is used to acclimate new corals to high lights, or existing corals to new lights. Would be better off using bird netting (( I believe that is what it is called )). It has bigger openings then screening -- more light, but they are small enough to keep the fish in the tank.

yes bird netting is what you need ( 1/4" holes) found at Home depo, lowes, home hardware in the gardening section

thanks everyone, i went with the bird netting , and it seems to look like it should do the trick.
