Wine for frags in the Milwaukee area

I work for a wine importer and have a decent size collection of wine and access to a whole lot more. So if there are any wine lovers out there that would like to save some money and trade some frags for wine please give me a shout. Things of note...

1.) Yes, you must be 21!

2.) I deal in mostly European wines (very strong in Spain and France) with some small boutique California growers. If you're not a bit of a wine geek you probably haven't heard of most of what I would have to offer.

3.) I'm looking for colorful zoos and especially palys right now, also looking for SPS and Clams. Even if you don't want some wine let me know if you have some nice plays/zoas you'd like to sell.

4.) Wine suggestions are free :) I can also suggest wines if someone has something to trade but aren't sure what type of wine they're after.

Thanks,
Peter

Just wondering if you can get a pineapple wine From Maui's winery? They also make a good rasberry wine.

Sorry, don't really deal in stuff like that.

I had some of that pineapple wine in Maui. It was surprisingly good, & not to sweet.
Peter how about wines from Chile? I like a good cheap cabernet (less than $5 bottle) that doesn't give me a headache. For some reason California cabernet wines don't work for me.

Good cheap and Cabernet are usually mutually exclusive terms :p
The reason people usually get headaches from cheap wine is highly debated, but it really shouldn't relate to varietal or region (though stranger things have happened). Spend a little more on a bottle of wine that's estate grown and you should have better luck no matter what the varietal. Unfiltered, unfined, and organic is best, though very few wines are certified organic even though most of the better European wines are organic. In other words, if it's organic it won't be advertised on the label.

I'd suggest you try some of the Spanish wines out there. You can get far better wine for your money than from places like Cali and even Chile. Some of them are even organically grown and small estates with low productions and excellent quality for $6-7 retail. Just don't go looking for these wines at most grocery stores since they usually have a lot of mass produced stuff that's had pesticides used on the vines and who knows what added to the wine to make it more drinkable.

If you'd like I can get you some good inexpensive Spanish wine or I can suggest some for you to buy and where to get it.

Me selling outright is borderline illegal unless you have a license ;) As much as I'd like to help out it's just not worth it.
