I regret to say, winter has arrived in Central Wisconsin in a big way! But with it comes some cool photo ops. This young buck wandered out of my woods this morning and just plopped down on the edge of my lawn in the blizzard.

Nice, what a beauty! We haven't had snow like that yet, but it isn't far off. The first real cold snap is coming tomorrow here in SW Ontario.

Similar to you, this guy wandered up to our backyard last weekend while chasing a doe, first deer I've seen at our new place, shot these from my back deck (had seen a ton of fresh tracks up until that point though).

Lol, nailed him with the camera only... only days after this, deer season opened, and a few friends were out with their rifles... only one of them got a buck though. Last week was a tough week to be a deer, around here anyway.
