Wire harness type

Hi!

I have the first generation Tunze stream pump and am interested in modifying it to have one pump run of a 12DC car battery in case of mains power failure. This can be accomplished with a DPDT relay switch. All I need is the type of harness used to connect power supply to drivers. Unit is way off any warranty ect...

I am interested in the brand of wire harness that transfers the power in the three pin configuration. It has one side rounded and one side square and a clip device.

I can handle battery recharging and wiring on my own.

Thanks!

I wouldn't have any idea what type it is, the power supplies were made in Slovenia, I could sell you a plug end from a dead transformer to play with, but the transformer puts out AC voltage, not DC.

I just assumed it was DC.

Car battery back up will need AC transformer to make it work. I'll measure output and get back to you.

You got me curious what is going on.

New units look like dc converters but I'm guessing. The Tunze battery switch would make me think it is too as it would got straight to pump.

The old power supplies put out low voltage AC and they had two hot poles on the outside and a common center pole. The new pumps use DC, that is why we can now offer a simple battery backup option.
