Wireless access through Linksys gaming adapter

Today I picked up a Linksys WET610N adapter from Best Buy. I configured it and it shows up as active on my network. I set up my Apex with an ethernet cable directly to my router first. Once the adapter was set up, I plugged the Apex into it and I cannot access it.

Anyone know what I could try?

You type an IP in your browser and you can get to the Apex when it's plugged in? You set the gamer up and can get to it over the network. When you plug the Apex into the gamer the IP doesn't work?

Did you try to do this in the same room or did you move three stories away? I have trouble at times in my basement getting a signal from the third floor. ended up using a 50' network cable to get the gamer a bit closer to boost the signal.

Not sure what else to say. Try them in the same room.

I am in the same room. Here is the course of events-

I set up the Apex while hardwired to my router. I could access it from the desktop or any other computer on my network. I was also able to access it from my iPhone while at work today.

After work I picked up the wireless bridge. Came home and set it up. I can access it.

I unplugged my Apex from my router and into the wireless bridge via an ethernet cable. Nothing. I can access the bridge and if I log into my gateway I can see the Apex but it's inactive.

Nevermind. I tried restarting my router and that seemed to fix it.

The WET610N works and was relatively easy to set up.
