Wireless networking experts needed

I have verizon fios actiontec router and a linksys router with DD-WRT v24 on it. I am trying to get the linksys to function as a repeater so I can access my ACIII from any computer in the house. Eventually I want to be able to access it from the internet but I have to get access locally first. I had it connected to the linksys but not the internet with v23 and upgraded today to v24 so I could have the repeater functionality. Now I can't connect to the verizon router or the ACIII. The linksys router is functioning but that is about it. I just need someone to help tweak the settings. Anyone experienced enough to want to give it a shot? (dinner and beer for anyone that wants to school me!)

I bought a wireless Linksys "Range Extender" from Circuit City. It pick's up the signal from the furthest point and relays it to the other side of the house for full house coverage. The N+Nimo didn't have the distance or work thru the walls but the Range Extender did the trick w/G+. It also has a direct connection port on the unit so you can connect a non wireless device to it.

I am trying to use my existing equipment for this. I have 3-4 wireless routers laying around that I don't use.
