I started planning a new toy I want to add to my own rig but I figured this might actually be useful information to share for you DIY'ers out there.
If you are unfamiliar with the addon card PLM-ADIN this is a module that allows you add 4 digital inputs and 2 Analog inputs (that can be wired with sensors or meters of your choosing, 3rd party devices, etc). What I like about this module is the ability to trigger a few different events from a simple pushbutton that you can mount anywhere you like (I'm building a panel on my canopy with 4 buttons that will control these).
Currently the options supported on the digital interface are:
- Thunderstorm
- Water Change
- Maintenance
- Feed Pause
