This is a wiring question. I'm electrically challenged.
I just got a SPDT intermatic timer (IntermaticTimer FD34HW Energy Control) so I can hook it up to shut down my return pump and turn it back on automatically after a time interval.
On the device there are 4 connectors available. Two on one side for "Load 1", two on the other side for "Load 2". To do the reverse action that I want, I'm supposed to connect to "Load 2" side, if I'm reading the instructions correctly.
Currently my return pump is plugged into an outlet that has a switch (one of those that is bulit in together) so that I can turn it off/on easily.
I want to keep the pump plugged into that outlet, but I also want to wire in the SPDT timer. How do I do that?
