The only time a Wons TI heater worked for me was in freshwater. Since going to salt, I went through 3 of them(warrantied) and won't use another. Mine always stayed on, overheating the tank....

2.5 years on a visitherm stealth. no issues so far.

I went through (2) Won Bros. 1000w. In 6 weeks.

Just switched to using a controller and dual 400w.
