You use it as a coral dip. Supposedly will get kill red bugs (I haven't tried in that capacity yet) and acro eating flatworms.

Yes, it is. I tried on RB and it work great. However, I did not want to take a chance, I did the interceptor too. However, after dipping, I saw a lot of RB in the container. I have no AEFW issue yet, so I have not try that and so far all coral inbound are clean from AEFW. Sorry, does not mean to change the subject.

okay, and for the folks who switched between IO and oceanic, what do you look for beyond cost and calcium/buffer levels? is there anything about how your tank responds like lighting?

I bought it from Frank Burr / Tropical Oasis when he was here. I think next month he will give a presentation at BAR, so you could ask him to bring some. PM him for the price. I am not sure what LFS in here that carry that.

How is the Red Sea salt? Right now I am using Instand Ocean and it seems to be pretty good for my fish/softie tank.

We use Red Sea (3 yrs) and have been quite happy with it, but I don't have any points for comparison.
