I have a few frags I would like to trade or just give away. I am not interested in setting up a frag program just now. You do not need to trade anything back but if you have a tiny softie mushroom, polyp or zoa I would love a polyp or two.
The Woods Polyps seem to have a lot of names that seem to be differing critters. These are long and flowing and have a golden brown color with whitish streaks. The polyps close completely at night. Some types have the tentacles sticking out still. They have one "hand" per stalk. They are quite pretty to have in the back of a tank and in moderate flow. Lighting does not seem to matter. They grow fast but are very easy to contain.
The Neon Green Star Polyps I have are very green with long tentacles that flow like grass on a windy plain. If someone prefers I also have the slower growing (to me) green stars that have shorter tentacles and look more star shaped with a larger white dot in the center. These are just as green.
All these frags will grow under almost any lighting but need at least a mild flow of water so they can get cleaned out of detritus.
These photos were taken with 175 Watt XM 15,000K MH light and no PhotoShopping was done other than size change. The green star polyps are very out of focus and not the original subject of the photo. It is just the only one I had of them.
I can glue them to a piece of rubble for you or you can just cram them where you want them. They attach easily. I usually do not glue them.
I would be glad to deliver them as I often am in different parts of the area at different times of the day and evenings.
I have about 5 frags of each that are plenty large to get them going and will replace any that die within a reasonable time.
