They are perfectly fine by themselves. We currently have a male in our 55 with a potters angel, perc clown, clown goby, firefish and he just hangs around. We hope to eventually get a female from someone else (hopefully Kim) so we can have another pair. It is actually amazing how little these fish swim, they hover more than anything.
Kim, they probably won't start to pair up till they are about 4-6 months old (depending on their size).
