woot new 1 gal pico set up today w/ pic

there it is, its about 5lbs of dry sand which was washed, as u can see from the ripple above the water i have good flow throughout, and i aquascaped so its porous so water flows easly. i covered the front view of the intake for the powerhead so it sucks in more from the back thus creating more flow in the back. i used LR and LW (live water ) from my estblshed tank. i'll post up more pics. lighting is a 10 watt 50/50 compact flourscent, 10watts is okay since i wont be doin anything other than zoos and other softies. no shrooms though they'll take over too fast

im thinking that power head is going to peal corals right off the rocks.

i dont think its that strong... its only strong on the top right right on the rock its hitting, then it dissipates into a nice current throughout.

i threw in a hermit to see how it'll do over the nights cold. if it doesnt survive for the night, then i'll just make it a coldwater pico and collect off the tidepools here

I think the powerhead is going to cause heat problems in the long run! but other then that it looks great...

or you could just check the thermometer. LOL
