Worked once- Not again!

In my old tank way back when I added a couple of yellow tangs to a tank with one already in there and they started hanging out immediately and worked out great long term so I figured I would try it again- Bad idea! I picked up a yelow and purple tangs from Boosted last night and to make a long story short, my YT beat the crap out of the new yellow all night. I was able to trap the new YT in the corner of the tank with a piece or acrylic sheet and got it into the sump. Then the YT started going after the purple so I decided this was not a tang I needed in my tank if I wanted to keep a purple and a yellow together. I trapped my original YT in the corner the same way and relocated him to the sump so now I have the 2 new tangs in the display. The YT has a decent amount of fin nip but I think he'll recover fine. Fun stuff.......

If you feel gutsy, maybe move some rock around especially if there is an area he hung out near a lot. Wait a week or so and try again.
