workhorse ballast

So can anyone recommend a non overdriving ballast for T5s if the workhorse is so "bad."

I believe the Triad and Advanced ballast are what you are looking for.

for 40 bucks( $10 more than the workhorse) why not just get a ballast designed for t5s

i use workhorse ballasts to run my 4 39w Ho T5's. i have never had a problem with them and i havent noticed the bulbs having any problems. i dont think they are bad ballast at all. there may be better ones out there but in no way is the WH a bad ballast.
