only thing i'd suggest is ONLY do your "badass" ones... keep in mind the fastest grower will overtake anything it grows next to/around it.

Yeah I really need to get some better ones. But a 50$+ per polyp it would take forever to take over!

that is gonna look awsome. I keep colonies of zoo's in my frag system on large peices of acrylic so they are easy to cut apart and scrape off for fragging. works awsome..
 
i bet it would be easier to do star polyps but i'd agree with the other poster... i'd do only "badass" types...
 
This looks like a fun project!
In regards to fraggin though, if you decide to, how will this make it easier? I mean a straight edge will cut the glass on the bottom, or am I completely dense?
