I'm depressed that USA is out...but there's some really good soccer to be watched still...

I can see Germany pulling of a hometown victory like France did in '98. Aside from that, not that I care for Argentina, but I think they'll win it all....either them or Ghana haha.

I never put much hope in US anyways. US was not a big supporter for professional soccer and the team only make it to the quarterfinal in last XX years.

I say Brazil. Despite the fact that Argentina and Germany are playing well, Brazil hasn't even begun to use all their ammunition. They've been toying with their opponents. It will either be Brazil or Portugal.

You should not go at all with FIFA Ranking to consider wich team is better. If you read the way they do it you would agree, last time they revised it was in 1999 I think they need to do it again. Do you actually think that the USA team would be over ITALY, GERMANY, ENGLAND, ARGENTINA, FRANCE just to name a few.

yesterday's match between Portugal and Holland was ugly!
two major ejections on each side and several card fouls.
haven't seen a game that rough and ugly in a long time.

I was holed up in a bar @ Mexican restaurant watching the game on Saturday. My fiance and I were the only 2 people wearing light blue. Boy were the Mexi fans upset after the OT goal. lol.

Italy did not deserve to win. BAD referees!!!! But the bigs have got to advance whether on their own or with help from the refs.

Totally agree with you on it being one of the best games in the cup so far. Game wise it was awesome but when you have referees call it soo bad it just makes it sad. Like today for instance. Another great game between Italy and Australia, but the refs messed up pretty bad.
