Worm ID Please! This thing is evil!

Can someone ID this thing. I have at least 3 of these in there, and this one was a PAIN to get out. They ate my Maxima clam last night, so I'm currently a bit bitter. :furious:

I have been battling these for about 1-1.5 years. They are Oenone Fulgida worms. You said it they are evil. I have removed about 10 from my 75 gallon and just recently saw one after not seeing any for about 4-5 months. Search on reef central if you would like the info I posted. They are a pain to get rid of. Well I wish I was rid of them. DO NOT GET ANOTHER CLAM. Also they eat snails. Good Luck. How did you remove that one??

I had to get him out the old fashioned way: hammer and chisel. At this point I'm willing to reduce my live.rock to rubble to get rid of them.

Your luck you found the rock. I have never been able to ID what rock they are in. They stretch out so long and move around the tank a good bit. I remove mine by hand with a pair of tweezers. I bait them to come out with a dead snail or piece of scallop.
