Worm Identification (and other hitch hiker IDs)

Hey, Reef central! First post here... Well, first in twelve years. :rollface:

Just got my tank set up, more on that later. Trying to ID some critters. Got great rock from TBS, and am grateful I did. Now onto the worms.

I thought there was just one of these uncomfortable swimming worms, but there were quite a few that popped out after lights went off. The little white worms, a but over am inch, immediately swam to the surface to where I was looking at them. Probably saw half a dozen within a minute or two.

Safe? What are they?

Also, a couple crabs to ID as well.

I have them (and a bunch of snails and couple other crabs) isolated in their own bucket. Can input them back into the aquarium? What sort of crabs are they?

Use the "attach files" functionality to post pictures directly from your computer?

There is a "manage attachments" button below where you post (go advanced) called "additional options" in there you will find the attach files section..

The worms are likely epitokes, harmless. The crabs look like red mithrax crabs to me, mostly harmless if kept fed regularly. Crabs are omnivores though so it's not out of the realm of possibility that they can snack on other tank mates.
