I was trying to figure out what was bothering a Paly rock that had stopped opening and saw a tiny work crawling around on it. I've tried finding something online to ID it to no avail. I'm hoping one of you happens to know. Please don't say 'Peanut Worm'. I'm confident it isn't one.
There is no way I could get a picture of it. I was looking at it through a magnifying glass. The work has a tiny diameter. Very similar in girth to a vermitid snail tentacle. It was realtively long --- about 1 to 1.5" long. It's most dramtic identifying characteristics was that it had lattitudinal stripes of alternating light and dark. It was not segmented. Anyone???
