Worm Identification

[NCC-1701]

Can anybody identify this worm. It is approximately one foot long and only comes out at night. We have only seen it eating the algae on the sand bed and rock work.

Looks like a big polycheat bristle worm.

Thanks for the feed back. Although we have never seen this thing eat anything but algae, does it pose a risk to other life in the tank? I have not lost any fish in over two years. However we have seen a decline in the snail, crab and shrimp population.
