I have this really long green algea (like 5" at the least) I'm guessing its hair algea? I have some snails, hermits, and 2 emerald crabs, but the only thing that wants to touch it is one of the emerald crabs. What can I do to get this stuff out? Thanks

Pull it out manually, then the snails (turbos) will be able to mow it down, but they will not touch it unless it is very short like less than 1" long.
Add 3-4 tubos if you don't have them already.

lol you shouldnt feel to bad i moved a tank right near 2 windows so its getting hammered by the sunlight all day (no other lighting at all) and i got some red algae thats like 5-6" long in just under a week.....i couldnt see in the tank! lol..(29gal)

but yeah just pull half of it out or so and the snails can attack the rest

Hair algae is patty-cake compared to the vicious and unforgiving Dictyota. You have been warned!

If you pull it out make sure you siphon it out too. Small pieces will settle in other crevices of your rock, making it difficult for you to win the battle. I suggest that you turn off your pumps when doing so.
