Would a bangaii eat cleaner shrimp?

I have a pair of bangaii cardinal fish and would love to add a pair of cleaner shrimp. Would the cardinals eat the shrimp? I'm guessing they wouldn't because the shrimp are much bigger than the fish's mouths and because many fish will allow the shrimp to clean them of parasites. I could be wrong though because I've never tried, so I'm looking for some advice.
Thanks,
Bryan

I have a cleaner shrimp in my tank with a bangaii and many other fish including a mystery wrasse. I have heard all kinds of stories about cleaner shrimp being eaten, but mine sits right on top of the rock work in full view and everything leaves him alone.

It would have to be a really good sized banggai and or a small cleaner. I have two cleaners in my tank (and 3 peppermints) with my pair. You should be fine.

Thanks. Yea I didn't think it was too risky but wanted to check. My bangaiis are adults but not huge, I've seen cleaners almost as big as the fish themselves so I'll find a big shrimp. I have some aiptasia do I will try a few peppermint shrimp before adding the cleaners. I also have a sixline wrasse, I don't have anything to worry about there, do I? The wrasse has such so small mouth I can't imagine it would try to eat the shrimp.
