I'm trying to form a mated pair of Banggaii cardinals and am trying to determine the sex by the vent method. I've no experience doing this and was hoping that someone with experience could help me out a little. Basically looking to see if I'm correct in my assessment.
I have what I think is a female already in my display tank. Here's a couple pics of her(?). I'm pretty sure I only see one vent. Am I looking at this right? You'll have to zoom in to see the vent area.
What I think is a female.

A close up of the vent area.

And here's some pics of what I think might be a male in another tank. I definitely see one vent and I'm guessing the other structure is the second vent?
A male?

Definitely one vent, and I think a second?

Any opinions?
