Would the snails mind, or will they complain?

I have a small problem with bubble algae. It's not a huge problem (yet).

Some of my snails have bubble algae on them, and I would like to remove it. Here's what I propose:

1. Get two containers of tank water.
2. Put snails in first container, brush with a new toothbrush
3. Rinse snails off in second container (to get rid of algae spores)
4. Return snails to main tank.

Is this going to be OK? If not, any suggestions?

For some reason, it's only on the astrea snails, not on the turbos. So, in case you wondered, it is astrea snails I'm hoping to clean.

If they do complain, who will they complain to?

you should be fine.. try running carbon in your tank... cut back on feedings, do water changes and reduce your light cycle to help control algea

Sounds like a solid plan. Like you said if they complain just tell them to hush, and you will be done soon.
