Ok I have the 24g AP with the stock 64w pc lighting. I want to upgrade to T5's. My problem is obviously that i cant find a 20" fixture that would go over the tank, only 24". The one im looking at is This Current Fixture. Would it look and be stupid to put the 24" fixture over a tank that is only 20" wide. I believe they have mounting legs that come with it and are adjustable. I was thinking about just moving the legs in and having the light hang over the edges a little bit.

I know they have the 20" sunpod, but I really want to have T5 lighting due to the inexpensive cost of running them.

Im just trying to find some imput and see if this is just a stupid idea.

don't get the nove t5 fixture. they only have one reflector and the majority of the light output comes from the individual reflector.

The inexpensive cost of running them is assuming you have slrs on the T5s. Without them they are just like PC.

The only reason I got the Nova was it was free, and there is little inexpensive options for T5 lighing fixtures.
