Wounded Clarki; help to diagnosis and treatment

Hi,
Today my clarki wake with a wound in one of it sides. I don't know if it is some kind of disease or if it was a mechanical injury.
Here is a pic that fairly represents the situation.
If somebody can help me with possible diagnosis and treatment I would be grateful.

It looks like he got banged up against a rock or pinned where there might have been calcareous tube worms.

Keep an eye on it for infection/fungus. If you want to help out a bit, you can dose vitamin C (following the directions).

It'll probably heal up just fine over a few days.
