Even while typing this, stuff was changing so much, my responses might be somewhat outdated so hang in there with me.

Wow. Well, I've been pretty much detached from the real world for the last few weeks. My uncle who was also one of my best friends passed away. We "think" it was on the 26th. Would have been 46. Yesterday was his service and I did my first eulogy. I see a lot going on so rather than post on all the threads, I'll simply have a new one to respond to some of them.

#1- Trottie- I wish you and your family the best. I truly hope for a speedy recovery. Scary stuff!!!

#2- Donation- I was happy to see how people step in and help with Brooke's tank. I will be happy to donate anything that would be of interest or of any help. I didn't get a chance to get all the way through yet so not exactly sure what is still needed but would be happy to help.

#3- arianna06- I'm a bit curious about this as well regarding where you got the stuff or who told you this information because it wouldn't be in your best interest. I don't nec. agree with Clark on a 1 year rule but there is certainly a point that you have to get to and if your tank is still cycling, it's going to be almost impossible to keep anything. I agree that they need a "stable" environment.

#4- Weather- Ballwin is ok. I hope all is well with everyone's tanks. I think Clark said it best the last time we had power outages, "At this point, is there anyone without a backup plan"

#5- Price List- Sorry for your loss. I have the same Finnex T-5's and love them.

#6- Mark-Website- He's been sleeping. (btw-I have your cable and was THIS close!!!)

#7- Beautiful tank on EBay. Wow. Nice. Dig how unique it is.

#8- Clark's Water Change...Not exactly how you want to get to the appropriate salinity but should be fine. :D

#9- Frag Swap- ??? Have I been gone that long or is the one in Nashville?

#10- Water Change Poll- I slowed down. Was doing 30% every 10 days and tank has looked better by not doing so much.

#11- 29g tank- Lookin' good

#12- Keeping anemone put- Koddie Doo, the anemone is going to go where it wants. However, I don't know what type of lights you have. If they are stretching a lot, good sign they are not getting enough light.

#13- Contacts- Who thought of such a good idea?

#14- Good News!!!- Wild as well. Can't even imagine. Incredible!

#15- Mike, very generous with the generator

#16- Columbia Weather- Another reason to not like Columbia

Thank you clark. I truly appreciate that!
I'm having a hard time everytime I get a call looking down and it NOT being him. He'll be missed. Can only go forward and I hope and wish trottie and his family a quick recovery.

I have a client that always tell me, "there's no such thing as a bad day till you miss one" and there is a LOT of truth to that.

But you did forget my fridge going out:lol:

Wow! I actually had that on there. I kid you not, it was there. It was something like this.

"Of constant battle between the tank and work, you needed this"(joking)
Well, good luck anyways.

Not sure where that went but there you go :D

I swear I had it there!

Justin

Sorry about your loss, I hope you and your family are doing well.

Have missed your posts, they are usually the most thought out and detailed posts. I think you really covered eveything. You are doing better too, the old Justin woulod have started a new thread for each topic!

:eek1:

Really really sorry to hear that Justin.

We've had a lot going on here too with gma. Then with power out for 2 days the threads multiplied like rabbits. I think I'm going to quit trying to read them and just wait for the new ones.

Thanks Roy.
I hope she is doing better. She's not back at the house yet, is she?
Did you ever end up getting a generator? Let me know if you need any help.

I've had my stand here for about 10 days but haven't even gotten a chance to open a single one of the boxes it came in. Just been too busy

She's at the rehab skilled care on the other side of Conway Rd. from the hospital. It will be a couple months probably. I got a generator for Christmas and used a flashlight to get it togather since it was still in the box. Cable lines went down too so even with power tv sucked and no internet.
