Ive seen a one close to 3ft that was caught in a tank. Ive also seen one come in with a box of live rock but it was dead. After seeing things like that it makes you not want to put live rock in your tank. lol

since on the topic of worms i found about a 4 inch one in my tank about two months ago, never knew it was in my tank till one day i thought it would be neat to look at the stuff in my tank with a flash light at night and seen the thing scoot into an empty crab shell. needless to say i have a leather finger that grew onto this shell from the previous owner and recently my leather looks likes its being messed with a lot. doesn't look like something is eating it but more like it keeps shrinking up a lot and just looks disturbed. you guys think that the bristle might be messing with it?
