Wow check out these clowns!

I was looking at the new arrivals over at Extreme corals and check out these "Picasso Clowns" I've never seen anything like them and probably the 400 dollar price tag is why!

Alot of the frags I see in the new stuff sell so fast...guess I need to start browsing more often! Angers me! lol

$400? I'm not seeing anything spectacular there.... how are they special? their orange looks a litte tangerine-ish and they have that strange blotch on the tail.. but other than that i had a pair very similar until recently when i sold them on here

Yes they were marked at $399 and it says they are sold. People are crazy.

Yup,

I'm the one. They are doing great! They have recently taken a liking to my elegance. They don't really lay in it, but they dip down every now and then. They are the highlight of my tank...and they seem to sometimes bite on my arm when I am putting new stuff in there. lol

Yeah, these Picasso Clowns are from ORA and fetch a hefty price tag pretty much anywhere you see them. I've seen them in a couple Dallas store once or twice, all crazy priced.

I think the Clowns that I got from Aquariums in Edmond are prettier than that, and cost a lot less than that as well... but they are very interesting!

I personally REALLY like the Picasso Clowns. But heck, I am with Adam in that the $25 pair of occellaris I have are great...

I actually think they look worse than other clowns, but that 400 is probably skewing my opinion....

Dustin, your sons clowns are beautiful.

I do think it is nuts to pay so much for what are in fact mutants. I have been involved with parrots for many years and I have been amazed at how much people will pay for a bird and also snake that has color mutations.

This was a second set. The first one's set out on the ramp at the airport due to the weather. EC replaced them without incident. They are truely beautiful and the patterns are changing.
