I'm not sure.

those pipefish are pretty awesome, great colors. glad to hear they are eating.

what tank are you keeping the in? the 180 or do you have a smaller tank as well?

i had a pair also but the pair that do eat red bugs. they eventually wasted away in a few months. I guess the diet for red bugs were not there. hope you're more successful with those.

great stuff how r they doing with the flow

So far so good. They like to hang out on the left side of my tank, which has less flow than the rest.

ok/ I've been considering a pair but afraid that they may be blown away and not make it , I'm turning over about 45x and perhaps adding ore in the future. so thats one of my concerns with pipes.

I've got about 30x turnover in my tank. I think the dragon face pipes would do just fine with higher flow. Some of the smaller ones like jan's pipe fish might be fine too.

Hey Chris....how are the pipefish doing.?
I would like to get one for my tank but havent seen any around town, unless im at the wrong LFS. Where did you pick your up at.?

Hey Chris...how are the pipes doing?? I was thinking of adding 2 to my tank....doesnt seem like many people have them in their tanks or they jsut arent replying!

All three pipefish are still alive and eating well. The tangs in my tank decided to pick at one of the pipefish's tails. They nibbled it completely off! I have been watching very closely and it looks as though they have stopped picking at it. I'm not sure if the tail will ever be the same, but it is healing.
