WOW... Mantis's new tank

Mantis, I'm sure you don't get sick of hearing this: your tank is awesome!
Can we get some shots of the business end of the tank? I'm curious to see how you
covered up the plumbing and wiring from the front door side of the Wall O' Tunze.

Again, this is wicked setup. When my tank grows up, I want it to be just like yours :)

If you ever need someone to watch your tank and make sure it don't move the light come on and off at the right time or to watch one piece of coral grow.i'm your Guy

Until you get a response I thought I would expand on what I remember of it.
First Brad is stunning at woodwork. The tank stand goes up into a peninsula on the one short end. It hides the business end of the tank.

Here is a photo of the back side of the tank. The plumbing runs up the pillar.

Are there any updates on this tank? Is it still running? This is one of my all time favorite TOTM tanks. I love peninsula tanks and your tank design is incredible. I would also love to hear about the faux sandbed and your thoughts on it.

Tank is still running, clam is over 2 feet now.

The faux sand works, and I would do it again. I love how it gives you plenty of room to grow zoas and mushrooms. Running assentionaly bare bottom is so easy to maintain, almost zero nutrients, easy to clean.

Sorry about all the broken photo links. Changed ISP at some point, and got lots of broken links.

Here is the link to the TOTM write-up with lots of photos

Tank had a minor set back this summer when we went on vacation this summer.
Doing a bit of aquascaping this summer to get it back.
Plan on starting a new thread without the broken links when I have the time.

Glad to hear it is still running. Years ago I "stickied" your original build thread as an inspiration. There are many great looking tanks on RC but some of them stick out as something a little bit special. I'm looking forward to an updated thread.
