Wow we are the Minority

I was just looking at the post counts in each forum and we are the smallest forum. I hope in the coming year we can make some advances and make these colorful corals easier to keep.

I think that finding the items to actually have in the tanks is one of the hardest parts.... I have found only one place online to purchase and a few times a species will show up on Divers Den.....

Any good sites would be great....

I'm not being paid... but I was just at phishy business (sponsor here) and they have all kinds of nice NPS corals. Some of the nicest, large NPS gorgs I have ever seen. Truly spectacular! If only my big tank were up and running. They also have some yellow, black and orange tubastrea. If you don't see what you like online just tell them what you are looking for.

Not too long ago, it was actually fairly easy to find a lot of non-photo corals at LFS and online. I remember seeing a lot more available when I first started. It seems that their reputation for being extremely hard to keep in the average tank decreased the demand for these corals. This is a good thing.

As far as online sources, I'm not aware of any particular site that has carries a wide variety of non-photo stuff. Usually, you just have to scour around until you find something. Thatfishplace has a few things that I have not seen elsewhere, including Stylaster sp. fire corals and a number of different tunicates, but I have no clue as to the quality of their livestock.
