I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that turned out last night, That was our largest crowd yet. By the time we began drawing prizes we had over 120 people in attendance and approximately 125 members subscribed to COMAS.

In addition to the prizes that were passed out we received 20 or so NEW frags for the donor program and around another 100 frgas were returned and passed along.

Im sure you will agree it was a truly exceptional eveing.

To all the new members, a very warm welcome. COMAS meeting are not usually anywhere near as hectic as that....so please dont consider the blurr of activity is the norm. I also hope that I at least managed to say hello to everyone, if I didnt I apologize and ask you to say hello to us in this forum so we can get to know you better and discuss your tank.

I also wanted to say a huge thankyou to Gary and Emily from ART and Leighanne and Roman from Aquariums in Edmond for coming along and for bringing several new members with them.

I also want to thank all the people that volunteered time to help take memberships/ pass out prizes/ sort out frags and sell calendars.

---we have calendars left if anyone is interested--

Regards to all,

Paul.

Paul, all other officers and the whole leadership team. Thanks for making this club so dang special. How far it has come since it's beginnings. A lot of work went into last night.

What a crazy night but lots of fun! I really think we have a great group of people in this club as well as some wonderful shop owners.

If you saw some frags last night that you want, don't be discouraged by being down far on the list. I got some and I was down on the list. Just show up to all the meetings and sooner or later...wham, you get some. I love my tank today!

I am now at my 5 limit so will work on getting them back into the program. What a great way to give back to the hobby!

Paul.

Paul
thanks for the warm welcome. The meeting was a blast and I meet a bunch of nice people.

I know how much work it is to put together the meetings and this one is even more so with all the goodies given away.

I know how many hours you and the rest of the officers must have spent soliciting sponsors for all the goodies.

Gotta thank the sponsors as well for supporting the club.

I appreciate it and look forward to the next one.

I've been a member for several months now and i still can't wait for the next meeting. this one was AWESOME!!! Great job everyone! And welcome all new members! Glad you all could join in the fun!

"I know how many hours you and the rest of the officers must have spent soliciting sponsors for all the goodies."

Actually, all of the credit goes out to Paul (please correct me if someone else helped). I think that Paul was the only one who fought to get us all of those sponsor gifts, with the obvious exception for those such who donated some of their own items!

So, thanks Paul!

Wow, race horse trainer!??! That is cool! Wait, Lexington is just south of Norman....I work in Maysville and exit 35 at 91. Are you the guy who has the horse race track on the west side of 35 that every once in a while I see racing a horse on in the mornings?!!? If you are, that is amazing and I want to thank you for making my 30 minutes drives just a little bit easier. Also, maybe I could beg you to let my girlfriend and I see you run a horse (she used to have horses and I know she would love it!!)

-Chris

Thats not me. I have my horses in Mustang and we will be moving into Remington Park next week.

Gonna run up in Claremore next month and when Remington starts up we will be racing there on a regular basis.

Your more than welcome to come to the races. Its a blast for sure.
