Well as Ive whined before this is the crazy time of year for my company.Add to it a new reef tank and I almost need to be sent to Lakeside....
Seriously ,all the little nuances one must learn through trial and error (additives make skimmers go nutz,pH dropping, coral light acclimation) its all had me running non stop for two weeks now.
Thank you to all the wonderfull folks who donated frags to my system!I plan on posting pics when things slow down some. For the most part all are doing great.I did lose one peice of soft coral behind the rocks and another just shriveled and died.To all the folks who allowed me in their homes to look at their set up a huge thank you!
Hope to get my forum activity back up in January.Till then happy reefing!

It does get really fustrating and it makes me sick whenever I lose stuff. However, I think the best part of this hobby is when you see your stuff grow. You will lose a lot of corals/fish it is impossible not to lose something all a part of the growing process of this hobby. Just don't give up and the best parts are soon to come.

Thanks so much gang!
The tank is beautiful and I love this hobby so far.Ive made new friends too!
Andrew that thread did make me feel lots better! :twitch:
