I noticed one of my MP-40 Vortechs was not spinning, no flow. I looked at the unit and no lights were on, I thought maybe I had forgotten to turn it back on last night when I had shut down all of the pumps. I pressed the button to turn it on and nothing...I knew something was wrong anyways because it's a slave and when I turn on the master the other two fire right up. I traced the line and all was plugged in, the little black box had the green light on as well. I pulled the wireless unit from its spot on the stand door and it was super hot to the touch. The other two Vortechs are running fine and totally cool to the touch. I plugged the whole unit into a different wall socket and the wireless white unit just gets really hot....there is a nothing happening on the dry side of the unit while it is plugged in. Now I am wondering what is up and what needs to be replaced. Is it the dry side? is it the wireless unit? is it the cords? Is it all of the above?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Slojmn,

I would recommend trying a different power supply, and if the issue persists sending the unit in would be your best option. We do not charge for our time and will be able to test all components and resolve the issue. If you would like to send the unit in, please go to http://ecotechmarine.com/support/request-service/ and fill out our Return Materials Authorization form to receive the necessary email and other information you need to send in your part/pump for service.
