Wp40 help and advice

I have a 125 6' long tank that I run 2 mp40's on. I recently setup a second tank that is 60 gallon cube (24x24x24). I just ordered a wp40 to go in the 60 gallon cube but now reading its way to big.. they both are mixed reef tanks.

Which should I do
1) put the wp40 in the 60 gallon and leave my mp40's in main display

2) put the wp40 in the 125 with 1 mp40 and use the 2nd mp40 on the 60 gallon so I can dial it back as needed

3) cancel the order of the wp40 and order the wp25 for the 60 gallon

Any advice is appreciated

I would put one mp40 in the 60 and the wp40 in the 125 unless you like the sync of the 2 mp40's or go with a wp25, IMO a wp40 is to much for a 2' cube

Thanks for the response.. I have the mp40s in antisync currently and run reefcrest most of the day with lagoon early morning and late evening... What modes on each would you suggest if I used 1 mp40 and 1 wp40 together in my 125?

I have never used or owned a vortech so I cant help much, but from my understanding the vortech's reefcrest mode is close to the else mode on the wp pumps so you could keep the mp running like you have now and use the wp pump with else mode for good flow.

I only run the else mode on my wp pumps, it gives the tank good flow IMO.

I have a 240 cube with 4 vortechs, and bought a WP40 for a 60 cube. The WP40 is way too much for the 60 cube, so I swapped it out with an MP40 from my display tank. While it isn't synced with the others, I like having the WP40 run on its own schedule. So far, I've had good results.
