Your fine, if the tank cycles in a day to a month as long as it has gone through its cycle. I to started with base rock and would advise to dose Microbacter 7 once a week to help the biological filtration out. Just don't stock to quick.

Funny you mention microbacter 7, that's what I use. As far as rock goes, aptasia, bristle worms, and mantis helped me make the decision to use Marco rocks.

I plan on ordering the rhomboid today. Reefcentral still say rhomboid and lineatus are ok together in a 75g?

Tank started cycling at the beginning of July, I used marco rocks. Is this not long enough?

Tank isn't quite 2 months old (since end of cycle)...looks like alot of coral in there, already...after the flame, slow down and let it mature...
IMO, the live rock isn't 'alive' yet, ...more fish = more food = more waste :eek1: ... you will need the LR for more filtration.

It will be a few weeks before flame finishes qt and gets added to dt.

here is the tank, you think the scape give the hiding? I wanted to have seperate rocks piles but 75g has its limits with scape and coral real estate. but as far as wrasses u think its ok?

Wanted to update, everything is living and doing good, no losses this time yet knock knock

I have a 90 gallon reef tank. I was told my saddle back puffer and my three tangs would fight till the death. I guess they were all wrong! My fish all get along great! I guess it is the personality of the fish you get!
