Wrasse compatibility question

I have a blue flasher and a mystery wrasse at the moment in my 185. I'd like to add a melanurus wrasse. Anyone think there will be any issues?

With a tank that size, I'm sure you would be fine.

+1 185 is a nice tank size and should be ok for those 3.

I have one too. He is rather skittish, but I think that's due to an ornery H. chrysus that is getting his adult colors and messes with him. They flare at each other and that is the extent. Such a pretty fish. I think you will also be fine.

I got him in today - awesome fish. Definately one of my favorites in the tank. I ordered it from Blue Zoo, my first experience with them and it was excellent. No issues at all withmy other two wrasses. My Regal Tang harrassed him very mildly within the first hour, but he kind of does that with any fish I put in. Just showing who is boss, I suppose.

I was a bit surprised that the new addition didn't hide at all. He immediately started swimming all over the tank checking everything out after introduction.

anyone know anything about pairing these wrasses? I have about a 4" one and it'd be great if I could add a smaller one and have them pair...or would I need several females maybe?

I have a pair in my tank, had the female and added the male 2 months ago. They usually do their own thing, but do get along well. The pic in this thread is a male, the female is more orange and blue with consistant striping.

Very hardy fish, I did have trouble with a previous tank and aggression from a female. She would go after any new addition.
