Wrasse Compatibility

I have a purple scale fairy wrasse in a 29g that needs more room. Can I put it in my 90g with a yellow coris wrasse and a common cleaner wrasse without fighting?

So far in the 29g with a pair of clowns, lawnmower blenny, and purple firefish I have seen no aggression from the fairy wrasse.

Thanks,
Brad

You should be fine. Cleaner wrasses need other peaceful community fish in the aquarium with it so that it can obtain food (unless you can get it to eat prepared foods) so you shouldn't have any problems with the cleaner. I have a yellow coris living in my reef along with my purple scale fairy and there is no aggression. If you want to take a precautionary measure, keep the purple scale in an acclimation box inside your 90 for a few days and watch for any aggressive behavior between the fish.

Cleaner wrasses have a dismal survival rate in captivity, I'd personally suggest finding a species more suited to life in an aquarium. The other 2 should be fine

What he said. Is the cleaner an African Cleaner wrasse? If so, it should be fine, if not, they do not do well in captivity.

Yep, it's an African cleaner wrasse and it eats everything I put in the tank. I didn't think those 3 fish would be an issue but I wanted to make sure before I moved everything over.

Thanks everyone!
