Ok I want to get 3 wrasses for my 90 gallon reef. Currently only 2 snowflake clowns in the tank. My plan is to get all 3 at the same time, quarantine them in a 29 gallon, and then introduce at the same time to display...my 3 specimen choices are...
1 male hoevens wrasse
1 tri color fairy wrasse
1 red lined wrasse...
Will this work, if not what can I change....I really want the hevens wrasse if nothing else bc of its coloration and tube worm control.

Sounds good to me! Just have a lid with NO gaps and a sandbed of 3in+ for hiding/sleeping under.

Check and check. I have a nice sand bed and a fully covered glass lid...wife's cat likes to go swimming

Hey thanks so much guys. I'll get them in 5 weeks. Has anyone has success quarantining the Hoeven wrasse? I lost one a few months ago in qt...stop eating and seemed super stressed

Mine went through quarantine (TTM and 4 weeks observation) with no issues. Put a Tupperware container of sand in the QT so it can bury itself at night or when stressed.

They are generally pretty hardy, though prazi can diminish their appetite.
