Wrasse compatibility?

I was just wondering if i can keep peppermint shrimps with wrasse at all?

I have a banana wrasse and a rainbow one, they are both around 2inch long with very small mouths and they do eat pellets.

Will they attack if I add shrimps in?

Hard to say, depends on the fish. I added a yellow coris to one of my tanks that had shrimp in it already and It was fine. My shimp are pretty big, 7 peppermints and 2 skunks all about 2".

Well i have a mystery wrasse and every time i put peppermint shrimp in he eats them.I would say no to your question. The only shrimp that i have in tank is a coral banded shrimp.

Not sure which wrasses you have but I'll go on the assumption that the rainbow is T. lucasanum and the banana is T. lutescens.

The rainbow is probably OK as his adult size is small enough, although it is still hit and miss. As for the banana, the shrimp won't stand a chance once this fish grows and nears his adult size of 11+".

BTW the shrimp will stand a much better chance if they are in your system before you add the wrasses.
