I did do my homework! It's in my Quarantine Tank for just a few days so I can get it eating, which it is. He will be moved to my 135 reef. And yes, the 135 has a sandbed. Thanks.
 
It can be kept in a BB tank as long as it has some area to bury in.

You can even do this in a Q-tank on a smaller scale.
 
It's an ornate leopard. Without sand it will stress out and die. I suggest placing a small container with sand like in the picture. This will be a temporary place for it to sleep. I even ask my suppliers to ship them with sand in the bottom of the bag. They seem to have a better survival rate.

Too late. He already made the trip to my 135.

glad to here it. I have had my female african leopard wrasse for over a year now. I actually had the male which is "impossible" to find. Unfortunatley he didn't make it through aclimation. I replaced him with a juvy from the cook islands though.
