I picked up this fariy wrasse at petco as a pink anthias lol
I have been guessing at what kind it is but every time I look at it it has different markings it started as a pinkish red with a big black spot by its tail now the spot has shrunk to a little dot and looks like it will be gone soon. now it is a bright blood red with blue outlines of its scales and blue lines on its face

the blurry pick dosnt show the blue but it is the best pic I have at the moment he is shy

It's really hard to tell from the picture, but I'm sure it's a young juvenile. My guess would be a sunset fairy, but , just a guess.

Juveniles like that are really hard to tell apart, and the pic is not ideal. You will only be sure when it is bigger...

ok I got a couple new pics tonight before the lights came on with the flash. they probably wont help because like you said it is a juvi when the lights are on it is almost pink

It's definately a young juvenile. And with those markings in its head, I'm sticking with sunset pylie's fairy wrasse.
