Wrasse ID?

Hi guys

So DeJong has a new wrasse in stock and I really do not know which species it could be. Looks like a cirrhilabrus spp.

What do you think?

Juvenile/transitioning C. Katoi would be my guess.

If it was collected off Africa, then I would agree its either "Kwazulu" (C. sp.2) or "Kenya" (C. sp.3). Both are regional variants of C. rubriventralis.

Edit: And out of those two, I would say C. sp.3 due to the white on its belly.

You could very well be right...posted a link but it doesn't work

Its a male C. sp 3, for the very reason Marshall mentioned above, the white belly. I believe some were recently collected from Madagascar and have made their way to the trade this past week. A shop near me has a pr as well.
