Definitely the labropsis or comet wrasse now I Googled it. Thanks.
Urgh, I tried to research it but couldn't find it and I specifically asked if it was reef safe and told yes it is.
From what I can tell mine is a juvenile which don't eat coral polyps, not that I have any yet as just switched over from a predator tank to starting my reef again and only have one green polyp toadstool and a BTA anyway. Need to find a home for it as the shop I got it is too far away to go back with it over a £20 ($30) fish.
Your current coral stock will not ve threatened by its diet, it would only be acropora and the like, so if you dont plan on keeping those corals he will not be a bother to leathers, zoas and LPS.
i had one, too, years ago. it literally ate chunks of my acans, despite it's smallish size. if you have lps/sps, i would get it out before it does too much damage.
I've had a couple over the years. In my experience they seem to prefer LPS over anything else. Galaxea is a big hit, as are any mussids, Euphyllia, and Cyphastrea. Soft coral seems to be pretty safe.
