Filamentosus should have a swept tailfin, like the blue flasher.

Maybe a red-tail flasher? Not too familiar with it, but my recollection is that it's very "carpenter-like", but with a red tail.

In any case, it's a flasher wrasse, stays small, and gets along pretty well with everything that's not trying to eat it.

Red-Tail Flashers have bright red, round tails. That Flasher's tail looks more like a tattered purple tail, like the tails of some Filamented Flashers when they first come in. Would need more detailed pics, maybe with fins spread apart to get a better clue.

Otherwise, yeah, should be a model citizen. More likely to be picked on than to pick on others.

Sure doesn't look like my Red Tail

It's a flavianalis x. filamentosus hybrid; one of the more common Paracheilinus hybrids.

Is it the yellow anal fin that makes you think it's a hybrid? I guess I can see that. Now that you mention it, it also looks a little like P. paineorum, which looks like a Filamented/Yellowfin hybrid.
