Hello everyone are there any wrasses I can keep in a biocube 14, besides a passum wrasse?

I just want a fish with lots of personality and is active around my tank. So if there are no wrasses what would you recommend? I do have one small purcula clown.

Thanks

I would not get a pistol shrimp. I had one in my nano and always made the tank cloudy by stirring up the sand when he was making tunnels and would bury my corals.

As for wrasses a red-arrowhead wrasse would be great it also goes by the name possum wrasse there are a few different species. they are very docile and the only wrasse I would consider perfect for a nano. I had a yellow fin flasher wrasse which is more colorful but they are jumpy and he would steal food when I was spot feeding corals, other than that he was a great fish and another good choice for a nano. other than these few wrasses I would not recommend any others. Hope this is helpful.

I'd only suggest a wrasse in the possum wrasse group. Flasher and fairy wrasses require tanks that are quite a bit larger, and some other wrasses that would fit in your tank can get rather aggressive.

I don't know about other flasher wrasses but my yellow fin flasher never got bigger than a little over 2 in and I had him in a 14g nano. But I agree that most flasher need a bigger tank and I would not recommend any of the fairy wrasses.

Possum wrasse for sure! Good size , good color and good temperament.

Avoid a 6 line! They can (and in my experience with 3 always HAVE) become really aggressive. Even to fish much larger than them.
